Međunarodni trening
kurs: “The Specialized Training Course for Technicians
and Managerial Personnel”
General Directorate for Development Cooperation of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy has granted funds
for scholarships for postgraduate students from
developing countries.
In this respect, at the Consorzio per la Formazione
Internazionale – CFI (International Training
Consortium), Rome, Italy, with support of the partners -
trade associations, developing agencies and companies
involved in internalization processes, executives,
technicians and administrators from public or private
institutions, that already have a basic professional
experience matured in the operative structures of their
own countries, will be trained at the course entitled:
“The Specialized Training Course for Technicians and
Managerial Personnel”
The focus of CFI’s strategic training is to transfer
technological and managerial know-how in the various
specialization sectors in which the Course is divided:
Commercial foreign exchange, corporate management,
Energy, International banking and finance,
Telecommunication, Television-Multimedia, Territory and
environment, Training and development of human
resources, Transportation.
The course, lasting from 31st March to 6th June 2008, is
divided in 3 phases:
1. Introduction (4 weeks)
This phase is dedicated to treating the following
matters: Italian institutions, social and economic
structure, meeting with representatives of the principal
companies that will host the stages, problems concerning
economic development and international technical
cooperation, as well as a linguistic program that
provides attendance in groups for an intensive course of
Italian language.
2. Professional development (5 weeks)
The aim of this phase is essentially to supply a
professional reference point to the participants that
can be achieved through visits to Italian institutions
and enterprises, meetings and stages with variable
duration and through the participation in seminars
dealing with subjects suitably planned.
3. Conclusion and evaluation (1 week)
In this phase, at the conference, subjects regarding the
capitalization on the experience acquired and a Course
assessment will take place.

copies of certificates and diplomas obtained, detailed
description of the tasks currently performed with
reference to the training experiences and duties, as
well as a photocopy of the passport, have to be
submitted no later than the 25th February 2008 to:

Afterwards, 30 selected candidates from various
countries will be granted with scholarships, aimed for
lodging in hotels, half-boarding in double rooms and
pocket money for evening meals, medical and accident
insurance, as well as the travel expenses in case that
candidate declares that his administration cannot afford
these costs.
